Needle Roller Cage Assemblies are generally supplied with a machined steel cage or sheet steel cage, bearings identified with the suffix "TV" have an injection moulded glass fibre reinforced polyamide 66 cage.
Needle Roller and Cage Assemblies simply comprise of needle rollers held within a cage. As the radial height is equal to the diameter of the needle rollers these bearings can be used where their is limited radial space. The needle rollers carry the load along the length of the roller and therefore have a high load carrying capacity and are also suitable for high speeds. Needle roller cage assemblies require hardened and ground raceways on the shaft and housing.
