SEMR 2237 Enduro Seal BB86/BB92 SRAM Non D/S

Very impressed with both the product and the efficiency of Wych, the delivery is super fast, and a very easy website to find exactly what your looking for, mine is primarily cycle bearings, and seals.

My bike frame has a PF30 bottom bracket shell and SRAM doesn't (didn't?) have a matching BB. My bike shop chose to use Parlee PF30-to-Shimano-cups adapter to make things work. The downside was that they had to replace the Enduro non-drive-side (NDS) bearing provided by Parlee (24mm for Shimano Hollow Tech 2 NDS spindle size) to 22mm inner-diameter to accommodate SRAM GXP's 22mm NDS spindle. This is a weird thing to do, and they probably should have used a proper bb adapter (e.g. from Praxis or Wheels Manufacturing), but c'est la vie.

Unfortunately the bike shop used a GXP dust cap (MW327) from FSA's 386 Evo BB adapter instead of a proper bearing seal to cover the NDS bearing. For PF30 this part must accommodate significant force due to the required crank assembly torque. The MW327 is an oversized plastic disc (larger than the PF30 bearing size) that splits when force is applied.

The Enduro SEMR 2237 NDS bearing seal (the part on this webpage) is the proper size to fully protect the bearing from debris while resting on the NDS bearing races instead of the frame's BB shell. With this part I was able to apply full spindle-bolt torque without any part failures, and felt no additional resistance on the assembled cranks (which was another issue with the MW327 bodge).

Wych Bearings was super-helpful in identifying the required part and they communicated very well about availability and my shipping options.
